How to solve several common faults of temperature sensors?

Issuing time:2024-12-30 19:35

At present, temperature sensors are increasingly being used in different fields, and various problems are inevitable during use. Generally speaking, it is rare for temperature sensors to malfunction. As long as they are carefully tested before leaving the factory, these situations can be avoided. Therefore, temperature sensors need to be inspected at the factory, and customers can also ask the sensor manufacturer for a factory test report for reference.

The temperature sensor technology has become very mature and is very common in various factories. Temperature sensors are often used in conjunction with some instruments, and there are often some minor malfunctions during the matching process. Therefore, here are several common faults and solutions after encountering them:

When the temperature of the measured medium rises or falls, the transmitter output does not change. This situation is mostly due to the sealing of the temperature sensor, which may be caused by the temperature sensor not being sealed properly or accidentally welding a small hole in the sensor during welding. This situation usually requires replacing the sensor housing to solve.

Secondly, the output signal is unstable, which is due to the temperature source capability. The temperature source capability is an unstable temperature, and if the instrument display is unstable, it is due to the weak anti-interference ability of the instrument.

Thirdly, there are many reasons for the large output error of the transmitter. It may be due to the incorrect resistance wire of the selected temperature sensor, resulting in a range error, or it may be due to the sensor not being calibrated properly when it leaves the factory.

It is rare for temperature sensors to malfunction. As long as they are carefully tested at the factory, these situations can be avoided. Therefore, temperature sensors need to be inspected at the factory, and customers can also ask the sensor manufacturer for a factory test report for reference.
